November 29th  Membership Meeting
Guest Speaker

It’s with great pleasure this month’s speaker is long-time Scientific Anglers product engineer Bruce Richards who was named the 2007 Angler of the Year by editors at Fly Rod & Reel magazine

Among his credits to fly fishing includes the creation specialty fly lines for specific species, techniques and conditions, and his efforts developing  Advanced Shooting Technology.

Along with his accomplishments with fly lines, Richards helped develop and is a member of the board for the Federation of Fly Fisher's Casting Instructor Certification Program, and also served on the board of the American Fly Tackle Trade Association.

He is the author of Modern Fly Lines, part of the Lefty Kreh Little Library of Fly Fishing Collection, and with his good friend and long-time fishing partner Ray Schmidt, invented the effective 'chuck-and-duck' fishing technique.
