2007 Membership Meeting
We trust
you are having a great summer and remind you it's time to start
think steelhead.
As Fall approaches we will start the 2007-2008 season and resume
our club's Membership meetings. The club calendar has been
updated with meeting dates, tournament dates and other events.
The calendar is as complete as it can be for now and will be
updated periodically to reflect updates.

13th
Annual Steelhead Expo, Sept 15, 2007
This is an event
which helps us to raise money for the club. It needs to be
support by all steelheaders so that we can continue to meet our
goals and objectives and river access. The Expo will be held at
the Lake County Metro Parks, Penitentiary Glen Nature Center,
doors open at 9:00 am.

Steelhead Summit 2007
Many
concerned Clubs met with the Ohio Department of Natural
Resource, Division of Wildlife on June 14, 2007 to discuss the
steelhead fishery access issues. The outcome consensus
is the State has no idea what to do but study the problem which
as we know will take a decade. Change is possible if we all work
together, we will be posting information on this site telling
you how you can get involved to speed up this lengthily process
.

Steelheading

When you need a steelhead fix in Summer you can catch them in
Indiana's Trail Creek located in Michigan City. Member Tom
